Cool fact:

Our founder, Diane Castañeda, worked in the ocean conservation and environmental fields for over 8 years, working in local, state, and national bilingual campaigns including the plastic bag ban of California, the adoption and establishment of Marine Protected Areas and National Monuments, and sea turtle conservation campaigns. Her love for the ocean is why she picked the name Sirenas, which is the Spanish word for mermaids.
